Boot season begins sometime around Thanksgiving, and usually lasts until the middle of January, if we’re lucky. I do remember one year though it being warm enough in January for my sister and I to lay out on the cellar door in bikinis, so that’s not boot weather at all.

Our hospital has the H1N1 vaccine now, but just the nose one and I’m holding out for the shot. I don’t like having things in my nose. Also, we have had 3 confirmed cases on our floor already, so my exposure might be too high anyway. Oink. -giggle-

Poor, poor Random, having to sit through Cats. That’s a bit of a night mare, really.

2. I work at a college and every 5 ft there are hand sanitizers and posters about swine flu. My hands are raw from the flippin stuff…

I have some fake uggs but they ONLY get worn to walk the dog through the slush & snow. And amen to girls in tall black boots. It inspires me to exercise! Although it makes me want to go shop for new ones which is bad for my bank account.

Uggs… seriously? Ugg = Fug

When you ask them why they wear them, they go “because they’re so comfortable!!”

So are mens sweatpants. That doesn’t mean you wear them in public. Cut it out with the Uggs already people. They weren’t even cute when they somehow became popular 6 years ago… there still not… you look like a cavewoman.

End of story.

1. Dude, it’s so cold here today! (I know I’m a day late responding but F it) I’m not thrilled about winter starting. You know, you should lie and say it’s like 80 there — quickest way to get me to visit

2. UGH! That happened at the restaurant this summer. I was not a happy girl.

3. That happens to be what I wore to work today (ok maybe not 3 inches but close)…. grey suit skirt, black tights, black tall boots w/ heels, black turtleneck and long multi-strand necklace. Hello hotness

4. HATE uggs.

5. They don’t care if they have lots of money and a big you-know-what…

6 & 7. You tend to fixate on one physical feature for an entire day, don’t you? haha

I’ve heard that Uggs are comfy and 3 inch heels may often mangle poor unsuspecting lady feet. But what the hell do I know?
