This post made me giggle. Especially at the end.

I like to not give a shit about a lot of stuff like who thinks I’m a major be-yatch because I say it how it is. But sometimes its the little shit that pisses me off. Like seeing chics whisper to eachother even though they’re clearly out of high school. That one realllllly gets me.

I do give a shit, usually about stuff most people never even notice, like grammar and spelling. Like learning something cool. Like knowing a stranger is having a better day because I was smiled.

And I don’t give a shit about things most people do… like a clean house, like a shiny car, like kids with messy rooms. Like ironing. What’s wrong with wrinkled clothing, anyway?? As long as you’re wearing hot shoes? (Oh yeah. I give a shit about my shoes, too.)

When I first got married I used to fret over being the perfect wife. Worried if there were dirty dishes in the sink, coming home during lunch break to vacuum or get a head start on dinner. Stupid, I know. Did I get headaches? You bet. Then my husband taught me my soon-to-be two favorite words. “F*ck it” You know what? No more headaches.

Not the same as “I don’t give a shit” with life’s other offerings, but age is helping, big time, with that.
