Dumb stuff that makes me laugh: Ann Curry
Dr. Nancy Snyderman was interviewed by Ann Curry on the Today Show this morning. Topic: Swine Flu. While discussing ways to prevent the spread of the virus, Ann Curry asked the doctor to explain what things children should not share with each other. Dr. Snyderman said, “Primarily, things like cups, toothbrushes…”
And then Ann Curry helpfully adds, “…Cookies.”
For real, Ann? That’s your contribution? Cookies? For some reason, I laughed out loud at this.
Instigator does not like Dr. Snyderman. And, as we know, she’s not a big fan of Ann, either.

I’ve always been a “GMA” girl anyway, but the sole reason that I cannot watch the “Today” show is Ann Curry. I can’t stand her. And while I don’t wish for her death, I really wish someone would tell her that the reason she’s the interviewer and not the interviewee is because the interviewee is the expert or the person telling the story. Ann just can’t seem to stop herself from interrupting and interjecting, as if she knows better. It drives me up a freakin’ wall. Especially when her contribution is something like “cookies.” FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Uh oh. I share cookies all the time. I sure hope I don’t get The Swine. Thanks for the info, Ann. heh.

The poor dear. Perhaps she meant “Cooties”???? I’m trying to give her the BOTD here…

@Beth – I’ve been watching the Today Show for so long, I don’t know if I can cross the line. But I agree about Ann Curry – she’s so awkward and COOKIES.
@MommaSunshine – Instigator pointed this out to me today – she said, “As if kids even want to share their cookies anyway.” ha!
@CMC – You’re generous with that BOTD there.
