YES. i actually know someone whose husband is currently on trial for going to meet what he thought was a 14 yo girl (he got caught in a police chat room sting). she told me when they went to his arraignment, he was with all the other guys caught in the sting, and how they all looked like pedo’s – except her husband. meanwhile i’m thinking wtf, your husband totally has pedo face. and i used to work w a guy who had a face that made you think he would steal you, chop you up into little pieces, and store the chopped parts in chinese takeout containers.

the other week i was at a party at M’s old house. his former roommate came into room and i said “omg he looks like a child molester now!” M looked horrified and said “don’t say that to him.” i said, “why?” he said, “just DON’T.”

So it’s not just me? Yes, I have the eye too. Yesterday I saw at least two high-potential pedophiles. One had on large sunglasses and a dark trenchcoat (OK??) and the other just had a clammy, scuzzy look about him. Probably didn’t help that he glanced at my 2-yr old daughter, but hey.

One of these people is an old school friend of the hubby’s. He creeps me out big time.
Luckily we don’t really see him anymore. Even the hubby thinks he’s creepy now that he’s out from under the high school reminiscing shadow.
