I think I agree with Krystie about the wife thing. Plenty of my Southern male relatives are into NASCAR but have probably never heard of the Jon Benet case. I’m pretty sure their wives have, however.
My stereotypical reasoning is that a lot of Southern women are into that whole pageant thing and so have closely followed the Jon Benet murder saga. I know, I know… I’m really stereotyping so don’t hate on me if you’re a Southern Belle
