LynchSeattle: FTW! Website back.
1. Big thanks to LynchSeattle who provided a fix to my website issues.
2. A certain someone I know has a roommate with questionable taste. And by questionable taste, I mean undeniably bad taste. Like, sweatshirts featuring wolves baying at a full moon kind of bad taste. You get what I’m saying? I’m talking about BEDAZZLED bad taste. Anyway, someone questioned how well my friend knew her roommate prior to moving in together. “Do you know her middle name? You should know her middle name!” That struck me as a completely absurd guage on how well two people know each other.
Then I wondered if John McCain knew Sarah Palin’s middle name. I doubt it. He doesn’t even know how many homes he owns.
3. It occurred to me last night that no one has ever made me a decent cup of coffee (outside of a cafe/store).
4. I’m buying a webcam. I’m going to hook that puppy up and then watch to see what the hell Little Filthy does all day while I’m gone.
5. I wish doing the laundry ended with the tossing the clothes in the dryer bit. You know. None of that folding and putting away BS. Some days, I miss those laundry elves.

Just a random attorney writing about daily life with Little Filthy, my rotten dog.

Yay! Glad to see you back up and running. Chris was working on this last night with his laptop in bed. He would hit some keys, mumble something to himself and hit more keys. I asked him if the talking to himself helped with the fix. The look he gave me suggested that I go back to reading and mind my own business
Wow – bedazzled huh? I’m sure my taste has been questionable at times (I own a pair of lime green crocs) but I’ve never had a bedazzled anything!
My coffee isn’t the greatest but at 5:30am – I only care that it’s caffeinated and slightly warm
Yay twice – now we can Skype!
Laundry – it’s never ending. I wish I could teach the dogs how to fold but there’s that whole lack of opposable thumb thing.

Nice to see a post from you…it’s been a while!
The news of Palin’s prego teen daughter put a huge smile on my face, as did the pics of her underage drinking. Does that make me a bad person?
2. Oh god, the wolf baying at the moon…noooo! I dated a guy who had some wolf-themed items in his place. There was even some sort of wolf tapestry situation. It was almost a deal-breaker.
4. Cute!!!
5. Laundry is the one chore I enjoy, or at least don’t mind. I can’t stand dishes. Blech.

I’ve always wondered what the dogs do when we’re not home. Now that I’m spending a lot of time at home, maybe their solitary activities are being disturbed. No wonder Ripley peed on the carpet in the middle of the living room last night – she’s angry that she won’t be able to finish reading The Omnivore’s Dilemma, which she started while we were away in Indonesia. I don’t blame her – it was a very good book!
Glad your website is back up and running! I hate it when things go awry – it makes me feel like I’ve lost a limb. Last night I upgraded my WordPress installation and the damn thing ate all of my tags and categories. They’re all gone. I don’t know if I’d rather roll back the installation and fix it before re-installing, or if I should just bite the bullet and re-tag my entries. Shudder.

I’M SO GLAD YOU ARE BACK. you know, in the most benign, unstalkerish way possible;)

Bev – Dude. Why’s your husband know everything?
I ordered a webcam today, as well. So, basically, we can sit in front of our computer and give each other a hard time? I DIG IT.
Besos didn’t know what a Bedazzler is and asked if I was one. She thought it might mean someone who was charming.
I said, “No.”
heh.

Krystie Lee –
First, my very delayed congratulations on having a boy.
Or finding out that you have a boy. And will HAVE him later. Or that the baby is a boy. Though, it’d be just as exciting to have a girl. But always nice to mix up the collections. Diversity and what not. You get my drift. Congrats.
Second – wolf tapestry! Wow. Imgine bedazzling that. There’s not a trailer around that could do that justice.
psst – and no…doesn’t make you a bad person. I think I laughed out of pure amusement.

Avitania – Don’t you know?! YOU NEVER UPGRADE. Screw the new features! Who needs them?!
I’m afraid to upgrade.
Fear keeps me running place.
OH THE METAPHORS.

Jennie – I’ve given your picture to my doorman.

Good coffee? 5 words: Good beans and a Chemex!
Really.
September 2nd, 2008 at 12:39 pm
Hi, OHaire – Ahhh, a Chemex! I’ve never used one. I use a French Press at home and I like it a lot. I’ve just never had someone else make me a decent cup of coffee.
Now I’m going to be obsessed about trying a Chemex. Hmmm…I think I want the 3 cup size…
