Jennie - I wanted to add that I liked your site. The pictures are fantastic. No place to leave comments so I thought I’d add it here on the off chance you read the other comments here.
ok, i lied, i only have one other meatloaf song on my ipod…two out of three ain’t bad. my best friend and i used to sing it at top volume in the car on the way to cheerleading practice, which was in the late 90’s, NOT the late 70’s, just for the record;)
thanks about the photos:) i have a secret dream of having a career in photography one day. i’m sure you recognize the most recent ones, i was in your neck of the woods for the taste. i think you were actually close to where i live (i’m less than 10 minutes from dulles airport, in reston va) when i was in chicago!
I did notice the Chicago pictures! At first I thought you must be from here. I really like the Kinzie Street one and Building Reflection. How odd that we swapped places for a few days! If I can ask, out of curiosity, how’d you find my blog? Glad you’re here!
i wish i lived there! in college, two of my best friends were from chicago, and i lived with them for the summer after our freshman year. i absolutely fell in love with the city, and go back now once or twice a year.
in all honesty, i can’t remember how i found your blog! there was a link to one of your postings on another blog i read, but i can’t for the life of me remember which one. i thought you were hilarious, so i’ve been lurking for a while now:)
Meatloaf is great! He’s one of those singer/songwriters that people seem to either like or can’t stand. Loved him ever since I was in high school - after seeing him in Rocky Horror. What a talent.
I love this song too, but it reminds me of the fact that I really, REALLY want to know what Meatloaf is talking about when he says he’ll do anything for love but “that”. What IS that?! The world may never know.
I like it though. Just as long as I closed my eyes and didn’t have to see that man swinging his sheer red hanky around and sweating like a pig. The vid was scarring…but the song rocked.

I refuse to do karaoke with friends unless someone does it with me. And they have to MEAN it.

Hi, Jennie - What other two Meatloaf songs do you have?
July 13th, 2008 at 4:32 pm
Chivahn - Oh man, I’d totally do it. Because I’m exactly that ridiculous. I might need some alcohol first, though.

Jennie - Chicago can be pretty charming. Glad it’s worked some magic on one more person.
Ahhh, well, glad you found your way here and it’s nice to see you comment. Great green eyes, by the way.

Begijn - I honestly don’t know if I know more than 1 or 2 other songs by Meatloaf. You, Ms. Attorney-Ballerina, continue to surprise me!

I must say that after today’s performance of “Paradise”……., I have become a fan.
Encore, encore!

Damn! No one is ever impressed when someone gets a girl’s eye color wrong.

You can’t do karaoke WITHOUT alcohol.

it’s better than getting a girl’s name wrong;)
