To answer your question about us processing posts together…no. Literally, it goes like this: I say, “Permission requested to write about…” and Plush says, “Granted.” And then I do it.

I know people blog for different reasons. For me, it is to write and, I hope, to entertain. So my blog probably doesn’t lend itself to causing dating issues, really. I know that when Boss and I split, some readers were shocked and reached out to me – and that is partly how I know some of my readers. But I didn’t give any indication of the pending split on my blog. That’s just not what I blog about. That isn’t to say that I don’t write about how I feel. In fact, looking back at some of the entries I wrote about Boss was painful and they were changed to private. I hadn’t written about a broken heart but it reminded me that I had one.

I do give permission before anything I’ve said is quoted directly, but I’m also not the least worried about any “malcontent” being voiced here instead of in person. Another of RandomEsq’s many sexy qualities: a profound respect for honesty.

What can I say, all in all I think I’m a pretty lucky girl.

I would imagine that Plush will weigh in herself on this question, too, but if I had to guess, I’d say she enjoys it when I write about her. I dated Boss (my ex) for years and you’ll see that I never wrote a single bad thing about her so I would think it would be clear that my blog is the last place to voice any malcontent about a personal relationship I value – that probably helps with any trust issues.

I nicknamed her Plush and told her so. She was delighted and said it was perfect. I didn’t think she actually knew *why* I chose Plush – I just thought she liked the name.

Ms. Single Mama posted an entry about my blog and mentioned the Plush nickname…and Plush commented. This is what she said:
