Okay, this made me laugh:

"Little Filthy staring in disbelief. Glaring in disbelief."

I have a pet so I totally understand. With that, I will now leave your blog, having been cheered up from the first post of yours I read.

Bye bye for now.

Your dog knew to play it cool and act casual and just snatch a bite of cheese while walking by. Nice. I think our dogs are getting too smart.

We were hosting Thanksgiving for the family one year, and everyone was gathered in front of the family room tv while the women-folk were cooking. My cousin comes up behind me, taps me on the shoulder and hands me a cheese ball that had been sitting on the coffee table. I look at it and it has one big bite right out of the top! He said that Bailey walked right by the table, took a bite out of the top and kept right on going like nothing had happened.

She's usually a bit more sneaky than that, but she couldn't resist the power of the cheese ball.

Our dogs are not so picky, but Kala (the pug and the smallest of the trio) is just absolutely a nut when it comes to food. She eats so fast and furious that she does a Tokyo drift running from the couch to her food bowl at meal time. Her little body smacks on the chairs, tables, walls, as her feet are a blurred whirlwind of activity... not too different from a cartoon.

She wouldn't know if she was in fact chomping down on cardboard or an oreo. It doesn't matter to her.

In fact two of our dogs act like each meal will be their last. I have no idea where this comes from. They've never missed a meal. They always get food on time every time, but yet they act like this one... this one meal... was both their first and potentially their final supper.

I don't get it. That being said... they lurve cheese :)

I can only hope to harness the power of cheese to do good and not work evil.

Sid was all over that dish. Mmmmm, cauliflower-cheese-pastalicious.

I do remember gravy train! ACK. My monster eats Blue Buffalo dog food.

Cheese is a very, very strong force. I had made that cauliflower-cheese-pasta dish a couple of days ago, and this morning I had been eating some leftovers in a tupperware. I left the dish on my end table before I left for the afternoon. Usually, this is not that big of a deal; when I'm in a hurry during the week, I often leave my empty cereal bowl on my end table and it remains untouched by the time I get home.

Except today, when there was bits of cheese in the dish. I got home and noticed that there was a fork behind the couch. Odd. I peeked further behind the couch and found the dish from earlier, licked spotless. If my life were a cartoon, the tupperware would have made a "ping!" sound.

Cheese drives dogs insane. I'm sure whatever cheese you had on your sandwich tasted much better than dog-food gravy. (On another random note, do you remember that dog food that was made for soaking in water? it was called Gravy Train. Shudder.)
