Did you know that if you make your bride sugar cookies, you should cream the butter? And slowly add the dry ingredients? and mix the dough with a mixer and then chill it for a few hours before rolling it out into a nice 1/4 inch and cutting the dough into neat rounds?
What you shouldn’t do is purchase a mix from Williams-Sonoma, cut cold butter into it, drop in a few eggs, mix the mess together with a fork and roll it out on parchment paper. With a wine bottle. Before cutting rounds with a wine glass.
That’s what you should not do.

Well, at least you didn’t roll up the dough and smack her in the face with it.
However, maybe you should stick to Pillsbury break n’ bake cookies rather than the W-S mix. Heh.
